Terms of use and end-user license agreement

Using Decyml
These terms govern your use of Decyml's website and accounting workspace. By creating an account or using the workspace, you agree to these terms. If you use Decyml for a firm or client, you must have authority to use the service and provide that firm's or client's data.
Decyml is early-stage software in active development. Features and availability may change, and previews or planned features are not commitments to deliver them.
License and account responsibilities
Subject to these terms, you may access and use Decyml for your own business and authorized client work. This limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission does not transfer ownership of Decyml's software or branding.
Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in credentials and recovery codes secure. Use individual accounts for team members and grant only the access they need. Do not use Decyml unlawfully, access another firm's information without permission, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service.
Your data and connected services
You retain your rights in the data you provide. You authorize Decyml to process that data to operate the features you use, including the third-party processing described in our privacy notice. Only upload or connect information you are authorized to share and process in this way.
QuickBooks Online is provided by Intuit under its own terms. You are responsible for selecting the correct company and authorizing its connection. You can disconnect QuickBooks in Settings; disconnecting does not automatically delete previously imported information or reverse changes already recorded in QuickBooks. Contact us for account or retained-data deletion requests.
If you use the client portal, you decide who at each client receives access and what you publish or share with them. Invite only people your client has authorized, keep their access current, and review a report before publishing it; a published report stays as published until you publish it again or withdraw it. People you invite use the portal under these terms.
Human review and accounting decisions
AI suggestions, extracted document fields, reports, and review flags may be incomplete or incorrect. Review source documents, amounts, accounts, allocations, and proposed changes before relying on them. You remain responsible for your accounting records, approvals, filings, and professional decisions, and for keeping appropriate independent copies of your records.
QuickBooks posting requires separate approval of the saved change by an authorized user. Confirming an extracted document or completing a workflow does not itself authorize a QuickBooks write.
Decyml provides software, not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and does not replace an accountant's judgment or professional review.
Availability and ending use
We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or that Decyml is suitable for every accounting task. We may restrict access to address misuse, security concerns, or violations of these terms. You may stop using Decyml at any time and contact us to request account deletion. Data handling and retention are described in the privacy notice.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms as the product changes and will show the revision date on this page. For questions about the service, these terms, privacy, or account deletion, contact admin@decyml.com.
